Wizkid Starboy Clothing line

Starboy Wizzy who is Nigerians AfroBeat New school king is on of very few Africans who don’t just make music but run a clothing line abroad.

In August 2018, Wizkid unveils his clothing line which is named after his record label name “Starboy Pop Up Shop” and was debuted in Manhattan of New York.

The merchandise that was first introduced, include bandanas, T-Shirts , Starboy Jersey which was sold that in less than 10 minutes.

However, Wizkid collaborated with Nike to make this happen.

After the Success in New York, Wizkid opened another pop up shop in London.

Speaking to Vogue magazine Daddy Yo said

“For me when I dropped my last project, I just felt it was time to do something for my fans, so they could have almost like, a piece of me.”

I sat down with my team and we did a couple designs, we designed some shirts and some bandanas, and we just decided to put it up for the fans.

Something we intend to do like every three months, put out new collections.”
